Comprehensive care for ADHD
Hope Trust is a pioneer and leader in mental health and substance abuse treatments, with over 20 years of experience.
It has gained rich experience in diagnosing and managing ADHD found in patients with addictions. Early diagnosis and management of ADHD can prevent many people from developing substance abuse issues and impulse control disorders.
ADHD is a common disorder with onset in childhood with negative consequences in education and oppositional and high-risk behaviours. Unfortunately, awareness among the general public and medical professionals is not widespread.
A lack of awareness and fear of the possible consequences of diagnosis mainly cause the apparent absence of the disorder. Seemingly healthy developmental stages disguise a large part of the symptoms.
Providing optimum support and assessment is crucial to bringing out the best in the child.
Our long and close association with educational institutions is a plus point for sharing our ideas and treatment plans.
Our tie-ups with many of the premier schools in India mean that many children can now look forward to a better life.
The diagnostic and treatment process
A group of psychologists will first thoroughly evaluate each child. This may include assessing coexisting disorders like dyslexia and autism.
Management includes counselling, behavioural management, and medication if necessary. The patient will be offered his preferred treatment choice after a thorough discussion.
Moreover, we are establishing an advanced computerised assessment for every child for an objective, unbiased assessment based on the feedback of family and teachers.
